Terms
The terms for using the MailSequoia website and the MailSequoia service.
Last updated October 11, 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use this website, and when you use the MailSequoia service. "We" and "us" mean MailSequoia. "You" means the person or organization using the site or the service.
If you become a customer, your quote and order confirmation set out the details of your plan. Where they differ from this page, they take priority.
2. Access is by invitation
MailSequoia is invite-only. Nothing on this website is an offer to provide the service. The service starts when we confirm your access in writing, and not before.
3. Your responsibilities
- Follow the acceptable use policy. It is part of these terms.
- Only send from email addresses and names you own or are authorized to use.
- Keep your account details secret, and tell us promptly if you think they have leaked.
- Give us accurate information about who you are, what you send and how much.
You are responsible for the email you send through MailSequoia: what it says, the people you send it to, and your right to write to them.
4. What we provide
We provide the service described on this website with reasonable care and skill. We may change how it works, and we may interrupt it for maintenance, for security, or to stop abuse.
5. Pausing or ending the service
We may pause or end sending, or close an account, if the acceptable use policy is broken, if a sender puts the service or other people at risk, or if an account is not paid. You may stop using the service at any time by telling us.
6. Your mail and your data
Your email, your lists and your names remain yours. We process them only to provide the service. The privacy page explains what we keep and for how long.
7. This website
The text, design and illustrations on this site, and the MailSequoia name and mark, belong to us. You may link to the site freely. Do not copy it or present it as your own.
8. What we do not promise
The site and the service are provided as they are. In particular, we do not promise that every email will be seen by the person it is sent to. Whether an email is accepted, filtered or refused is decided by the email service that receives it.
9. Limit of our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profit, revenue or data. Our total liability to a customer for any claim is limited to the fees that customer paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. If you are a customer and a change affects you, we tell you by email.
11. Contact
